A Word to the Living Please.

More often than not, people angst and quaver to the idea of dying. Maybe it’s because of the many creative, gruesome and painfully slow ways one can actually die. I think it isn’t because of the unknowingness of the end, because we all know that it is inevitable, but I believe it’s more the magnitude of its agony that can allegedly be bestowed over someone who was rather close to you. It may just be the abrupt twist in that person’s life and having it flip upside down, tangle inside out and instead of going right, it goes left. To them, it may just feel like a missing variable to a mathematical equation. Not everyone likes Math, let alone understand it.
There has always been conflict with man; man and himself, and man and the unexplored. I’ve found this rather analogous to that of the phobia harnessed towards a fate you have never experienced, the things and the situations you cannot understand, or the aspects of a process or cause that you have possibly already convinced yourself that you are useless toward. Just like time and place, everything connects to a far larger picture, and it just may be something that you have neglected to understand or open your eyes to understand.
My hand in all of this shall always be five plays ahead, even when you have convinced and lied to yourself that you have any level of control in most things that should happen to you before you die and when you are about to. I shall always have the upper hand. I am a superior; a supernatural force much more powerful than any human being. I have directed every story down to the last breath and smallest detail. So, may you never forget, and may you never underestimate my existence or relevance in this world. Even after we have played this game, I am everywhere else, feeding my thirst and addictions to play yet again.
You cannot survive me nor can you reject my call, it’ll clench onto your throat through the home screen. Always keep in mind, and close by that you are only immortalized by a soul that you carry and not the host that which carries it.
I guess I could be a bit more empathetic and say that perhaps you fear my calling, even when the phone remains glued to your hand, because you have not yet established a mark and/or engraved your initials into something you would like to call yours. Probably you have not established any plans, goals, life paths because it never occurred to you how quickly you can disappear–let that sink in child. Let not the time pass you by on that freeway as you cruise to your destination believing the weather cannot just change abruptly or that you may never ran out of gas.
You're probably waiting for love, on someone to leave an etched feeling inside you so you may feel content even when it may just be for a little while? Whether it be love, work, careers, status, whatever it is that has you terrified of me, entertains me.
Tell me, or don’t, I’ll leave it as food for thought type questions. Have you planted fruits into the soil of a person or of persons you love and care about, maybe you would like to reap before the bell calls you away from them, or are you still meaning to? Have you found your purpose here and how important do you believe it is? I am not a prude, I am just simply asking out loud what you have already thought of many times, keep up with me. Have you found an equal and experienced love with them, him, or her? I’m not judging here, hey you live, right? At what percentage is your sense of fulfillment in such a vast world that is always so thirsty for more no matter the cost of a heart and soul on their path there? Is your battery even working?
To the afflicted, it is always much easier to extend my hand, but to the achiever; master of all aspects of life, or most, it is a great honor when I am chosen to send them off at their closing chapter. Please regard that I am not glamourising my habits or who I am so to speak, but merely fixated on the beauty of something that you may fear. I am the final act to a heartfelt show, allow me to tip my hat and bow a little here.
This is all about perspective and the angle that you choose to see from. Why not zoom out a little or learn to shift every now and then? You hold the controller. May you learn and may you never forget that you do not have to look too far or too hard to realize the beauty in anything and everything.
