Hello

Sometimes, I wish I had learned how to drive, at least a bit sooner, just to take myself places. However, most times; more than sometimes, I’m glad I don’t know how to drive because I don’t get to take myself places. I know I can be quite a paradox, but I swear I’m worth it. Hear me out.

It’s either a rainy day with lush greens; heavy grey clouds, a flock of birds, and a torn piece of pastel oozing into drippy red sunsets over a western horizon where the heartbeat of soft music lays right on my soul, reminding me that I’d rather admire the world from the passenger seat. I get to use my eyes to wander or reflect, and my hands support my chin, gazing out the window at the moving background. I can’t imagine missing the sweetest pleasures of the day to day all because I’m fixated on solely an asphalt street full of emptiness which bores me into a tiring sleep.

I’d prefer to close my eyes to the horrid sound of tires screeching across wet asphalt, the songs of the birds on a warm summer’s day or a playlist flowing with bass through my ear drums at peak volume---I never feel like it’s loud enough anyways. I want to watch the drops fall from the sky and race down the windows, tracing the fog into hearts filled with the initials of the one I love on the other side of the cold glass. I prefer being the passenger because my view is a lot more rousing, vivid, and idyllic on this end.

Hi, I’d like to believe that I am an ambivert, and what that means to me is sometimes I’d like to socialize: say, “Hi.” and smile in public, and sometimes I just want to stay inside, switch my phone to ‘Do Not Disturb’ and invest whatever energy I have into writing or sleeping.

Mostly sleeping.

I’m boring. My friends understand when I tell them that I have other plans...to sleep (even when I may have just lied and said it wasn’t what they obviously thought it was). Hey, sleep is important.

So, this piece was actually me riding in the passenger seat, freestyling all of this to be my introduction to you. I apologize for not taking any pictures of the scenery to add to this, but do enjoy the media I did fit in.

Fun fact: I love memes and gifs...btw, I say “jifs”. Love me for who I am.

I’m not really good at bios, so I can’t really tell you more about myself...at least not willingly while sober. However, I do hope that if you continue reading, you gradually understand or have an idea of who I am inside.

Welcome to the odd world of a Strangely Weird kid. Sure, I’m an adult now, but adulting is hard, and not my forte. Expect weird thoughts and possibly romance pieces on here. Feel free to comment as well and share the pieces you love!

Well this random passenger seat gazing through the window free styling piece was / is rather good. In fact you've inspired me to start writing myself. Hopefully this time I can keep up with it and be consistent and DILIGENT.

RESPECT SISTAR
